Elizabeth Aston's books are Jane Austen drivatives, lighter in topic, and shorter in scope. In other words, mostly a romance with a slight Austen flavor. I've enjoyed all her previous books, but I felt this one was lacking. It went along just fine, then wrapped everything up in about 10 pages. The book wasn't that long in the first place - it deserved a better ending.If her next book does it again, I'm done, and moving on to someone else.
