Sometimes my brain just wants pure diversion. I often turn to mysteries to satisfy that, and sometimes light romances fill that need too.
Georgette Heyer's books are usually diverting (they are regency romances). That's why I pick them up every once in a while. This one, however, is not one of her best. I liked it just enough to keep reading it. Not the most glowing endorsement.
I'm ready for a really good book.
