Resolution

My number one resolution for the year (it moved to first place yesterday) is to take a few steps out of the dark ages and into the 21st Century.

1. Learn to Skype/video chat so I can see my grandchildren more often. Oh, and my kids too.

2. Learn new ways of listening to my music via computer, iPhone, etc.

3. Figure out Picasa or some similar program so my photos can be stored in an additional place (cyberspace?) for safekeeping.

No laughing. It's true.

One step at a time.

  1. I love Picassa...it's very easy to use...once you have it on your computer it does the rest. Have fun! I want to Skype too...getting a new laptop with a camera and microphone inside...we're coming into this century together...look out world...LOL!

  2. Gmail chatting is the easiest thing-- if I can do it, you can! I'm no good with computers, but it's super easy! Elna LOVES seeing my mom and we chat most days so Elna really knows my mom even though they hardly ever actually see each other. She starts clapping her hands and smiling when the phone my mom shows up on chat-- you will love it!

  3. Great goals for this year! I just learned to Skype myself. Since my son is in the Navy, it gives me great happiness to see his face and talk to him as frequently as possible.

    You will do great!!!!

  4. I only have #2 down myself so you are not alone. I backup my pictures to CD but I need to find an easier way!
