It made me think of all the times my sister Cheryl and I would stop by Great Harvest and pick up bread while we ran errands together. I always think of her when I go there.
Of course you can't beat the free sample - with real butter to put on it.
I so miss our trips to Great Harvest as well as our other shopping trips. I dare not go too often as I can easily eat a whole loaf of pretty much any bread I pick up there- especially the cinnamen loaf. Now,my son will go every once and awhile to get the cinnamen bread andthen I get my treat.
ReplyDeleteA couple of my daughters worked at Great Harvest, so we got leftovers and free bread for several years. And now they make lots of the specialities themselves! I, too, love Great Harvest.
